Currently using a Asus V2 AH2 barebone system. Its great as its small and takes up little room but only has a 300w PSU.

Can i change this? Was thinking of something about 500w by enermax or tagan?

The long term plan is to get a decent matx conroe board and chip and an 8800GTS so a change of PSU is vital.

If it's a standard size of PSU - No problems whatsoever.

The only point in 'barebones' is the fact that you have a core system, add to it what you need.
Or when the time comes, swap the CPU/Mem/Mobo etc.

So shouldn't be any problems at all. :)

what about if you need a small size 500w PSU? is it possible to find?

my case size for PSU = 100 x 125 x 63.5

i have 200W PSU
If I were you, I'd invest in a new case which can take standard PSU sizes. It will make things *much* easier in the future!

I have MSI MS-6579 motherboard

will it fit in any case?, will it fit in Asus TA-210 Series Midi Tower?

is the Asus TA-210 Series Midi Tower with normal PSU size?
