can the psu go both ways?

in that pic you can see that the psu is up side down, does it need to be like that when in the bottum of the case? thats the way mine is currently but i want to turn it over as it would be a lot better for cable management and the corsair lable wouldnt be the rong way up.

on my case there is 2 little steps on the bottum where the psu goes to lift it from the floor of the case, is that enough space do you think?

there would be around 1-1.5 cm gap between the base of the case and the psu (i can get my fingers in it) is that enough for the airflow?

well it seems to be ok atm, cool'ish air coming out of the back. it does have a little room to take air in
