Can the wii download games?

as title can the wii download games from the net or demos?

you can download old Nintendo games but not current Wii demos, which is a shame really

The wii doesn't have anywhere near enough memory to allow that though.

hey the n64 had some amazing games , i will be glad to play golden eye and mario cart again , great fun!

Goldeneye isnt out, as i think i remember someone saying that MS now own the company. Hopefully whoever holds the rights will see sense and let it come to VC because it will make a hefty profit for both nintendo and owners. I just want 1080 to come out.

MS bought Rare, I'm sure they'd never let Nintendo have the rights to Goldeneye/Perfect Dark and all the other good rare titles if they do have them.
