can these be controlled?

Provided the one wire is 12v then yes but I would urge you to reconsider getting that fan :)

too late!! needed a good sucker to get some air in my case!! just need to turn it down, sounds like a jet taking off!!

paul can i overclock dvi single link to be able to get 120hz?? display port cable comes tomorrow, didn't you do that with yours?

Are the wires in the molex the same gauge as the wire in the 3 pin? if so, then you could remove the molex plug, then cut the pins off, strip the wires a bit and re-crimp with pins that are for the 3pin connetor. That would allow you to connect it to a 3pin header. checkout some tutorials on crimping for more info.
Its does require some tools and research, but certainly doable.

yes there are will have a look, thx

These fans are amazing. I use one on VRM's of card I am benching. One on RIVE VRM or on Z77 I put that on RAM.

More output power than me on serious high protein diet!!! and does not smell either bonus!!!

lmao!! they are good, but noisy, i've named mine "sandy"

well butchered a cable and got it working, turned volts down to about 4.5v which was acceptable but the fan controller overheated(not got its waterblock on yet) so for now have disconnected it.

Probably less money and work to get a lower RPM fan? That said I bet you have some good airflow now :p

Wanted to stick to scythe, but wanted a black fan to go with my theme as this one is seen. Airflow!! My god man if i strapped a umbrella to my case and put the thing on full whack i reckon my pc would lift off the ground, all 25kg of it! :D
