Can this be fixed?

See screenshots. This kind of thing happens on most games after maybe 20 mins of playing. Temps are normal. Not overclocked.

What it should be like:

But then:

Can I fix this myself or just RMA or deal with it?

Assuming you use the latest drivers of your gpu, and assuming that is doing it on all games, not only one. Probably you should RMA the card, if in warranty.

However seems weird to me, because artefacts pop all over the place, not on a single corner all the time. So if only that game is doing it, my bet goes to the game programming. Probably needs patch?

What card are you using?

Check that your running the latest drivers, part from that I think a RMA is in order. (can you try the card in another pc?)

I should add that it does it on quite a few games and it is all over the screen randomly. I just happened to screenshot it like that.

It's a 7970 at stock. On the latest non beta drivers. It did it on the old drivers too but I think I've had enough now lol

if you are at stock then defo send it back. could try a complete fresh install of the drivers first though using the driver sweeper removal tool first

If it happens in most games then it's probably a corruption issue with the card - I'd RMA it if I were you. Although it is strange that it only seems to be happening to certain sections of the screen - but I guess that's just the nature of this particular type of corruption of the GPU.
