As for the build, RTFM and you'll be fine. :)

:D ok... ;)

im hoping it will last a while
as to the motherboard, No i dont other than what the few reviews i've found say, im just hoping its good  (anyone know anything solid about it?)

put it this way my last PC lasted 5 years, but i bought that, and its been repaired under Warranty a few times, had 3 WD hdd's fail, and 2 Ti4600 graphics fail also..

Ok, i think i'll likely go for a cheaper MB then, may stay with 680i because im considering going SLi at a later stage hopefully to futureproof the PC some..

the other thing i was a bit unsure about is the Ram, i've read that frequency is svery important, but is the 4-4-4-12 that much benefit over 5-5-5-15 ?
i expect the fsb to be under 500 (1000 for the ddr2) :D i think the cellshock PC8000C4 will allow me to run tighter timings..
Or would i be better off going with cheaper ram, and maybe getting another 2Gb earlier :s lol

Stupid computers confusing me... lol
