can this convert avi to dvd pls

Iv never found Nero to be much use when converting movies, spits its dummy out every 5 mins if it doesnt like the codec.

Give Winavi a try, free download trial, pretty cheap program as well, better quality encoding then nero and 10 times quicker.

There are also loads of shareware programs that do this job also.
 
tryed the media coder one uninstalled after two mins of messing thing is i like nero cause its so simple .lots of the freeware ones either got banner things on vids or abit complicated for this noob .just want a program to click and go.
 
Nero will convert AVIs to Video CD (VCD). They play on most standalone DVD players, though they have their quirks and obviously the quality isn't amazing.

You can download trial versions of Nero.
