Can this Mobo take DDR2 Memory as well?

Hi all,

Just looking for a new mobo for my Q9550 cpu and Ati Gfx card (on back order with OC).Got a budget of about £80-£100.

Seen this one

and would like to know if I can use my existing DDR2 ram for the time being before I can get some DDR3.

Will it fit my Arctic Freezer 7 cooler?

Is it a good OC'ing board too?

The Arctic cooler should fit ok, the board only supports DDR3.

I am not sure on the overclocking ability, being X48 should not be too bad.

This board could take both types of memory, you may find a used one somewhere.

Asus P5E3 Pro Intel X48 (Socket 775) DDR3 Motherboard

OCZ Obsidian 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 Dual Channel
