It is all compatible is the good news. However I'd change the graphics card to an 320mb 8800GTS which is around the same price but far superior in performance. I also might not bother with the replacement graphics card cooler.

I'd change the PSU to a Corsair, either 520w or 620w would do.

Unless you really need the extra features of the 680 chipset I'd buy something like the Asus P5N-E 650 SLi as it has most of the features, overclocks well and is about half the price. :)

Agree with you 100% ;)

If you plan to SLI later then keep that board... otherwise change it :)

change the RAM to cheaper OCZ, Geil stuff
M/B if your not doing Sli change to DS3/DS4, P5B, P5N
PSU change to Corsair 620w
DVD-RW change to the Sata Samsung drive
GPU change to 8800GTS or GTX depends on your budget, why get old tech?, plus the GPU cooler what is that about? you trying to get a silent system or something?

not silent but a quiet as possible i have changed to the corsar 620 and the 8800GTS im planning on going sli later on when funds permit :D thanks for the advice lads

Put the PSU back to the Zalman unit. It's a damn quality, very quiet unit.

The 8800GTS 320mb is very quiet.

Also, dump that ram back down to some standard 800mhz ram. I promise you that you won't run into any slowdown over .75% in comparison.

Also, replace the motherboard for the Fatal1ty 650 board, this will give you enough of a budget to get a bigger monitor (belinea do very nice, cheep, large monitors.) 22"?
