Can USB pens corrupt files?

As long as the windows has completed its write, then pulling the USB stick is pretty safe. But if you start writing a file and pull mid write, then of course there will be corruption. Some USB sticks have a light showing when they are being accessed, so you can see when its being written.
 
Good advise m8, thats correct, let it have 1-2secs after on screen transfer is done, the blue LED on my Corsair GG still flashes, I only pull it once stopped.
 
I wouldnt of thought so, not wthout some heavy code modification anyway, and then you'll just end up with something like a hard drive checking utility. Flash drives are completely different from RAM.
