Can Vista warn you if programme is incompatible!

Can it? Just curious as i have a new PC with Vista 32 bit. Not sure about compatibility of some programmes and was wondering if Vista can test their compatibility!

It does, it comes up with a helpful dialog and relevant links, I remember this when I first installed Vista, now I never see it as more and more software is compatable.

pretty much all programs are compatible with 32bit vista, some games aren't due to the copywrite protection that they're bundled with, like Trackmania Sunrise

It does, indeed, warn you. A dialogue box warning of program incompatibility comes up (only for so many programs though I guess). I had this when I almost installed the wrong version of Symantec AV. It normally gives you links to there website, etc.

I have Vista 32bit and I get alerted when I try and run certain programs and Vista advises me there are incompatibility issues, then gives me the choice to run the program or not.

I always run them and they work fine without isses.
