Can we get a pass to MM for members who have had an account for many years?

I don't feel like **** posting my way to 1000 posts but i would like to use the MM from time to time.

Any thoughts on this?

Our MM access rules have been in place for many, many years and will not be changed. If you spam post your way to 1,000 posts then we'll notice and reduce your post count accordingly, so thanks for drawing attention to yourself

It's not that difficult to get to 1,000 posts, especially in the amount of time you've been here. Have a browse around the various sub-forums, find a discussion you're interested in or can offer some help and join in. Before you know it, you'll be there.

It's more than possible to hit the post count, agree with feek above can join in meaningfully with out spamming.

Plus members market is worth the wait every one selling or buying there is great

This questions been done to death. Short answer is no. The rules work as they are. The MM is one of the best/safest places to buy pc tech. Giving people a free pass might not necessarily change the ‘sanctity’ of the MM but it’s not worth the risk imo.

As the age old saying goes, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
