It's always the same idiots getting into it time after time and it gets very boring.

I used to use this forum as a resource for buying decisions, allong with a few others, but now I just ignore it. There are still lots of good posters here it's just they get drowned out by the same people posting the same useless manure time after time..

I hope OCuK sort it out as this forum needs work.
 
What if there was an actual troll that was posting here though? That would make this thread very trollist! :p

Anyway I've said it before, and I'll say it again, all that is need is for the mods to delete the rubbish and the culprits will soon get bored and move on.

It's the usual fanboy idiots again. I see one has been banned recently. A few more bans for the duration of the up coming launches would be helpful to the rest of us who have to suffer and trawl through the inane rubbish.

Pretty annoying when all i want is news, specs and reviews with a little light banter and all i get is like 10 pages of bickering from the same few people. It is the same group as well. By all means have a preference but some people go beyond that.

Yea...because mods are superhuman that are immune to annoyance caused by trolls :p

You have to bare in mind trolls can mindlessly posting rubbish, whereas the mods have to act responsibily and spending time to think and make decisions on to do or not to do something about posts that could be in the grey area...during that time, a few more troll posts would be hitting board, and mods simply won't be quick enough to deal with them all one by one, except for closing the thread altogether :rolleyes:

Well not acting at all isn't exactly acting responsibly. They could at least tell us why they don't often bother to do anything. Unless they're not keen on admitting that they don't want to annoy potential customers.

it happens on both fronts i'm affraid.

Like when the 5870 came out and was labelled the fastest single card on the planet Nvidia fans all posted up 295 benches :rolleyes:

it's unfortunate that people can't see past the fact that having Nvidia/AMD going at it toe to toe helps us guys with huge performance gains in game whilst also driving prices down.
The only real winners here are us. it's not a fight we should be having with each other. Just accept the fact the 580 will be the fastest single card on it's release and then wait to see if ATI produce anything in return.

who cares which company has the fastest. my bank balance dictates what i can have so therefore unless i can afford it i'm not that interested.
 
The correct saying should be " the Nvidia 580 will be the fastest card until further notice" and when the 6970 or 5970 comes out they can change it to "the 580 is the fasted single gpu" or vice versa.

Seriously man, I just blank out the crap now & leave em to it - I know we shouldn't have to do it, but just skip ahead to a sensible post. It's what I do :)


edit - In fact, if I was still a Mod I'd ban every single member of the forum a minute before a major MAJOR release just for a laugh ;)
