I have recently got a DSLR and have been taking loads of pictures, but for reason I have to enter the entire file name in the search bar for an image to appear, I just want to be able to put in the last 3 digits of the photo to bring it up so I can edit it, is there anyway to do this?

Which Windows? If it's Windows 7 it should work as you expect; to a fashion.

You need to put the files into an indexed location. My Pictures for example. If that doesn't work then open 'Indexing Options' -> Advanced Button -> Rebuild.

If the image has the number 105 in the name then typing that string after pressing the Start button will work but may return many results. 105.jpg will probably land on the correct file.

From generic explorer windows typing said number into the search bar won't work immediately. You will have be in the same folder as the images OR type said number then click 'Libraries' in this instance.
