Im in the market for 4 more gb of ram!

I have these

They have these timing CL 9-9-9-20

And I was looking at these.

(6-6-6-20)

They are an extra £20 compared to the ones i allready have...
Would you be able to notice ANY diffrence when playing games? I've heard timings may look good on paper but when your using them, there is no diffrence. Is this true? Would i notice any diffrence when using the 2nd ones compared to the first?

If you're just adding the ram to make 8gb, the patriot will increase it's latency to match the OCZ. You won't notice any difference. Most games never use up more than 4gb.
Replacing might make the system feel more responsive though.

That is true :( (games dont use more than 4ggb..only game i can think of is metro 2033..and half life 2 (with the graphic mod) It was more for replacing my Ocz, with the faster one for gaming and keeping the ocz ones in the 2nd duel channle incase i need them for photo editing, video editing etc :( So basiclly if i put the patriots in with the ocz.. theyll become as slow as the ocz ones?:(

ive even tryed overclocking the ram, but cant seem to get it working unless its set to stock -_-

Aye, you need to match RAM speeds - therefore you want them all running at the same speeds.

In your situation I would suggest you go for another set of the ones you already have, it will make life so much easier. The lower latency of the Patriot RAM will help in your video and photo editing uses, however this review shows you approximately how much (this review shows a 1333MHz CL10 and CL7 kit - not exactly the ideal comparison, but the difference will be similar).

What about I remove the ocz ones and just the use the patriots tho? Will i see any increase while gaming?

RAM is rarely a bottleneck when it comes to gaming, even going from DDR2 1066MHz to DDR3 1600MHz the difference isn't huge really.

This link shows the performance difference in games when using different speed/timing RAM with an AM3 Phenom II CPU. I'll let you be the judge of whether it is worth your hard earned £100.
