can you advice on what type of painting roller is best for my project?

Am looking to paint my projector manual screen as the surface is not smooth and gives a sparkling effect in high bright scenes with my projector

Any way I plan to prime it with Dulux difficult to prime surfaces then paint with a well know black widow paint people use for their protector screens.

My problem is I need to make sure my tools are up to the job!. Can you recommend the best roller for giving a roller free flat clean finish?

You may want to ask this in the Home Cinema section as well. A foam roller should give the smoothest finish as long as the surface of the screen is prepared correctly and is also nice and smooth. It might be a good idea to strain the paint before applying it (pass it through some nylon tights stretched over your paint container) to remove any large globs.

As long as you don't buy your DIY supplies from a pound shop I doubt you can go wrong here.

Use a small amount of paint too, don't swamp the roller with paint, the least paint applied the smoother the finish will be.
