Can you book a driving test before the theory runs out?

I was wondering if it is possible to cancel a test I currently have booked, and book a practical in a few weeks time even though by when the practical is taken the theory would have expired?

If not, it seems like I will have to repay and retake my theory again, and rebook my practical. :(

My current test is booked for the morning on the 5th Aug, and my theory runs out on the 10th, and it looks like I cannot make the test on the 5th... So I am not sure what to do, it looks like the only resort is for me to retake my theory, hope I pass first time again, and then take the practical.

The theory isn't difficult either - although an additional cost in money and time you could just take it again.

Last minutes are always availabe - the centres are rarely full.

Norwich is mental, to get mine anywhere better than the 8week or so wait I had to sit there with 3sec autorefresh on and then literally click as soon as it came up. Reminded me of whack a mole for some reason :p
