Can you build a computer inside a vacuum? (Like space)

Could you build a computer, put it in a vacuum space simulation and run it?

Would it run hot or cold?

But if it actually was in space then the ambient temperature would be a heck of a lot lower...

I dont mean directly in space, more like one of them simulations that lowers ths atmosphere to match space.

If there is no air, i'd be thinking it wouldnt create heat, but then i'd say the heat from the computer would just hot box the thing, but there is no air.....
