can you build a custom wc loop for the same money as a h100?

As per title

ocuk price is £83 for a corsair h100 which is relatively competitive. i want a new toy and an all in one doesn't look all that fun..... would it be possible to build a custom loop to cool a cpu for £83 that would preform at least a bit better? quietness is high on the list but ill probably end up with an ivy which look pretty damn hot, so it would have to be fairly good at cooling too.

if not, what kind of money is one looking at?

my case is awful so aesthetics are no problem and i would probably mount the rads(s) externally i don't care lol.

thanks

ok mate thanks for the insight.

ill have a think and do some sums. don't think the sums will add up though lol. problem is after selling my e6600, mobo, 4gb ddr2 ram and hd4870, i could have an 2500k (or 3570k or whatever the ivy equivalent is) + 8gb ddr3, cheap z68 and 2nd hand 6950 for under £300! so i supose as much as water cooling sounds like fun, its going to be hard to justify dropping 50% more on just the cooling LMAO.

hoping the 7850/70 drops in price then im sorted :P

thanks for your help though my friend
