I was thinking of getting a small deep fat fryer to do the odd small portion of chips.
I was going use the much healthier lard option & stay away from hydrogenated fats but I cant find any frozen chips at the supermarket that are not pre-fried in dodgy sunflower oil etc.

I know I could cut my own chips but I cant believe you cant buy pre-cut chipped potatoes that have not already been cooked in whatever the manufacturer deems to be healthy.

Op, I'd have thought that these would be available, however for what you'll pay to have your chips pre-cut vs. just buying potatoes, I'd have thought a chipper would pay back pretty quickly in investment terms. Also you have fresh potatoes.

I really want a deep frat fryer but I know it would be a slippery slope.

It takes secods to chop a potato, its not like youll want hundreads of chips a serving. Also it means you can leave the skin on which is win.

In waitrose they have precut chips that are marked as being for a deep fryer rather than oven. Never tried them so cannot say for certain what they have added to them.

Careful, soon they'll be a report that lard causes cancer.... or something.... (whatever the papers decide is the story of the week).

Hope the OP can get his actual question answered about where to get non-prefried chips.

I buy "Stealth" Fries from Costco. £2 for a 2.2Kg bag and I am sure they are not prefried but I could be wrong. I use them in an ActiFry anyway and they come out perfect and crispy every time(I Don't use any extra oil). If I use the ones that you normally get at Asda/Sainsburys etc I tend to find that they are usually a bit greasy.
