That was my thinking exactly hence going for the quad core, I just had to scrimp on something to be within budget, unfortunately I now realise it was the card.

Will i really notice the difference between the 320mb GTS and say a 512mb GT tho?

You probably will but it sounds like the GTS is getting a further make-over in December, so might be better waiting for that. Check out the Graphics Card forum for more details.
