Can you connect a5v 3x3pin molex to fan adaptor to a 12v case fan?

It looks like you have a voltage limiter for fans if i understand correctly? Molex from the powersupply goes in, and 5v fan headers come out?

If that is true then your fan will most likely work but at very low speed.
