Can you divide MP3 files?

Can u. I've got a few audiobooks which are too big to bur onto a CD. Anyone know of a way to divide them?

Audacity can be had for free and you can just Cut/Copy & Paste large mp3's to smaller chunks. Fairly self-explanatory tool to use, dead handy

you need to download the 'lame plugin' from audacity's website to export as mp3 by the way

Also WavePad, if you can find an old freeware version of it, most sites now have the shareware version.

I use it to cut MP3's so as to make ringtones for my phone.
