whats the max amount of cash you want to spend?
if for 650ish id go for an AMD, you can get a quad core 630 which is an exceptional CPU for the price save some cash to geta slightly better gpu.

yes £650 is sort of the max i wish to spend i was thinking amd but ive always used intel...not that im apposed to amd just not really sure

A couple of things could be adjusted to lower the price, mainly the cooler, case and psu :D

there are good psu's £20 lower "coolermaster" for example, you could change the cooler as the Phenom @ stock wont need anything 2 fancy and the case. The aesthetics is up 2 you, if it were me I would go for £30 case Coolermaster 330 or something verywell built. and get a cheaper psu and that would save £50 and you would get a lot better performance.
