Can you download from App Store above 100mb without wifi

Hey guys as the title states i would like to know of there is any way to download App Store files larger than 100mb without using wifi.

I ask this as I get 20gb of data and am getting 60 down 40 up as a average on mobile and this is much faster than most of the networks I have access to.

It's a little irritating having these speeds and not being able to use them to my advantage for instance I also can't stream Amazon prime video to my device over mobile data another thing i would like to be able to do D:

Any ideas or is this down to providers

Not without jailbreak, something that annoyed me too no end as I pay a lot of money for really good speeds and unlimited data but my "smartphone" needs to be hooked to a wifi network too be useful. Find it even stupidest that I couldn't restore from iCloud without wifi, since I don't store photos and my whole iCloud account was 50mb~. This coupled with a few other limitation pushed me over the edge and I ended up returning my iPhone 6. Its just maddening that as an end user I can't decide to use my data to downloading things.

Thankfully there is a jailbreak out now and its pretty easy to do and I've found it rock solid (iPad Air 2) and that will let you download to your hearts content, actual been debating if I should get an iPhone or not again.

however I'm not opposed to jail breaking but the bottom line is that we shouldn't need to do that to use our devices at there maximum efficiency and to our choice

Totally agree, its a stupid limit to start off with in a world where you can get unlimited data, and where that data is faster then most WiFi signals. Jailbreak really isn't too bad aswell, its literally hitting jailbreak on an windows/OSX app and its done.

Doesn't change it one bit (well you get two extra icons) until you actually install some tweaks

And one last silly question do I need to format the phone as whilst I can backup ect it would be nice not to go through the hoops setting it up again thanks btw everyone.

Yup that is what I was referring to mate. Give it a try. Also if you ever want to go back to stock iOS just restore form iTunes, just backup to iCloud first.

Unfortunately it won't let me use this as it says my device is not supported

iPhone 6 plus. Any ideas :/ other people seem to have it working ( new to cydia)sorry

If you have two cellular devices then just setup a WiFi hotspot on the other one.

Technically you'll still be using cellular but the device will think it's WiFi. It works for apps that only stream over WiFi but I've never tested it on the App Store. Hopefully should work though.

Far to much hassle for me personally I would rather just use my phone data to download what I want and not have the need to carry two phones to achieve this. I will just wait for a update on this 3G unlocker.
