I have an intel board with a broken pin. I was wondering if there is a way to fix a pin.

I have told stories of people using copper crafting wire to replace pins. Dose anyone have any experience with and way I fixing one. The pin is clean broken off.

Have you looked at the layout of the socket to see what the pin does?

Might be another way round it if it's for something non essential

The manufacturer may repair it, probably for a fee.

The fee to replace a socket is about £250 in that case I would be better of binning the board and buying new.

Tbf if it can't be done I may just do that, I just seam to remember a story of someone doing it with some 0.2mm copper.
