display large icons as default within folders. Every time I enter a folder the 1st thing I do is change view. Its getting anoying now.

Can I force vista to select a default.

Change it on one folder then goto the "Organize" drop-down menu, choose "Folder and Search Options" then goto the View tab and click the "Apply to Folders" button at the top.

I've found that my home machine seems to pick random views regardless of how many times i click appy to folders. My work one isn't so bad which may be down to me having "Remember each folders view settings" unticked although this still isn't perfect as it sometimes does it when browsing for files to open from apps etc. Quite annoying.
