Hello, i am looking to get the missus a new pc for xmas and to get it sorted in one go i was thinking of a system from this site which only needs HDD and OS(unless her sata HDD she has is compatible), mean i could take the time and build one, but that will take longer and need to keep up the motivation lol(was meant to be a birthday present last year oops!!), however she wants a laptop as well because i use one and she wants to be able to sit next to me or take it to bed, mean she has a nexus 7(gift with phone), but would like something more proper, but if i go the laptop route then the desktop will be put on hold..

the laptop doesnt have to be new or anything too special like, i will get her a better pc anyways, but would like to try get one for my desktop budget that is between her current spec and the new system which are as followed:

(current brought as a stop gap sorta thing few months ago))
Ideq N1
Biostar Mobo model ???
Mobile Sempron 3300+ 2ghz
1.25gb pc3200 Ram
250gb HDD
Geforce 8500GT
Windows Vista HP SP1

(new system Primo Plus 500i)
Motherboard: Asus P8H61-MX Intel H61 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
Power Supply: OcUK Value 500W PSU
CPU: Intel Celeron G530 2.40GHz (Socket 1155) CPU
Memory: OcUK Value 4GB 1333MHZ C9

or maybe one of the other kits under £200 with only HDD or OS needed.. so with that in mind under £200 for the laptop with OS.

thanks for reading.

i see many ones on NO COMPETITOR MENTIONG! with like a dual processor or a decent 1.??ghz and like 1.5-3gb Ram for around 100 plus and even less, but whether they win7 or older they tend to come with less than 50gb HDD and the ones i do see tend to have 512mb Ram lol, however i have seen one on ebay for £105 buy now with thus spec:

Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Li 27035 Laptop

15.4" Screen
3 GB RAM
100 GB Hard Disk Storage
Intel Celeron 560 2.13 GHz Processor
4 USB ports

sounds like a good one and running win7 and has a decent size HDD, but i dont know if it be any good?? havent quite got the money yet, but im looking at possible 'Buys'..

all she will be using it for is web browsing and mostly facebooka and pictures i guess, so facebook alone 2gb ram will be really handy, she has a decent and will have a better desktop for anything else.
