Can you get haptic feedback on a 3GS?

Hi all,

I have a chance to get a Iphone 3GS tomorrow second hand but I fear I will miss the haptic feedback my keyboard offers on Android.

I see there is a way to do it but it involves jailbreaking, does anyone know a way to do this which doesn't involve jailbreak please?
