Hey guys, at the moment for my H.264 videos on my website I'm using .mov format but I may change it to .mp4 as it seems to encode quicker and uses slightly less space but its still H.264, anyway can you tell me if the .mp4 format for this video loads correctly, cheers. http://www.mia-media.co.uk/videopage/stream_hd_maxpaynetest.html

can you also tell me if it plays n quicktime and if the sound streams ok.

Thanks

Squirrel.

yeh defo cs sounds for the win :p I thought they were better than the max payne ones and easier to get the files for.

Mel_P have you got the latest version of quicktime, 7. whatever it is?

An update doesn't take me to 7.1 - only to 6.5.2 + some updated components.

Presumably 7.1 is a full download and "Reinstall"

I remember why I haven't done this "upgrade" - I don't want iTunes. Earlier versions gave the option of not including this?

AHA so you did do your M.P vid ;)

Actually this looks lie the old one, make that one you were talking about :p

Cheers for all the replys guys, does anyone else think the colour in the video looks too dark, if you compare it to this version http://www.mia-media.co.uk/videopage/stream_hd_maxpayne.html which still uses the h.264 codec but was encoded using quicktime so its a .mov file, the colours look brighter and the sound seems better even though its been encoded at the exact same bit rates.
