CAn you have 2 different graphics cards in your computer?

different mounts a.k.a AGP (older, being phased out) and PCI-Ex (now being the main graphics card mount) for a start.

So basicly. No

You could with the ASROCK dual-sata, it has both slots IIRC.

I doubt it would even boot with 2 cards in though, if it did, XP would give a load of errors.

Normally you could have the main card in the AGP or PCIe slot and one or more "older" cards in the PCI slots, set in the BIOS which one to use as the primary, then you can run several monitors off the ports on the backs of all the cards.

the asrock can use both slots at same time i have read just need to use one as primary and one as secondary

the 939 dfi lanparty nforce 4 ultra version lets you run 2 different pcie cards at once for dual display.

The answer is yes, you can. I used to run an AGP gf2mx alongside a PCI voodoo3, so they don't even need to be from the same manufacturer.
