Can you help with Headset/Mic echo?

Hey guys,

I recently just bought a new wireless headset but it is playing local noises through the speakers. For example, I can hear my clicking of the mouse and tapping of the keyboard through the headset, as well as the TV in the background. Is there a way to resolve this?

Its probably an omnidirectional mic which would pick up everything. https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/357883-unidirectional-vs-omnidirectional-mic/ You could try to reduce the mic gain and move the mic closer.
