Can you hide your IP?

Genuine question. Mate of mine is a cop but wants to look at certain sights However he is paranoid given his job and wants to know how to hide his IP. I have no idea how. I have seen programmes through a google search but given his job I would need to be sure. Hate to get him in bother if thats possible.

It's never bothered the majority of people in her majestys service, infact they are some of the most dodgy individual's I know excluding former MP's (based on personal knowledge when growing up and not the tabloids). As long as he's not into anything well dodgy (eg Kids/Snuff) or has ambitions to end up doing a more interesting side of the job then he's need not worry.
