I was thinking of getting Forsa3 as it looks really good but I dont have a hard-drive for my 360 as Ive never needed one before now.

I've heard disk2 would install 1.9gig to the hard-drive & allow access to an extra 104 cars & 29 tracks but is not needed to play the game.

I have a spare 16gig flash-key which is pretty fast & works ok with Windows Ready-Boost, could I install Fors3 disk2 to this USB memory stick?

It would be dumb if it cant be installed to a memory stick & short sighted of ms, just like not allowing mkv/xvid out the box.

thanks

I wouldnt think so, BTW its not dumb from MS at all in their eyes, they want you to buy one of there HDD or purchase an elite rather than an arcade. Get a bigger mem card and install what you want or pick up a cheap 20GB HDD from the bay.

I also dont think it will be possible either, but would be good if it was for us lowly arcade owners.
Ive never plugged the 360 in the net so dont have much clue about installing stuff on it.

edit: a new 20gig drive (or should I say old drive lol) is £30.96 at an online shop, its still £65.54 at ocuk, huh!
what a shame...

In trying figure out storage for this 360 I hooked it up to my network to see what happens & Im watching FreesatHD on my 360... LOL, its using the main htpc wmc as an extender, it needs an update to watch hdtv & hd media (I hope mkv) but needs a h-drive store the updates... Doh!

If only there was some sort of service that allowed items to be sent from one person to another, even across very large distances. That'd probably be quite popular.

Ooo, that's almost sig worthy. :D

@ the OP, MS won't let you do anything with USB keys save for pictures, music and video. You can't use it as a storage device for the console, only for media.

Out of curiosity, does the 360 let you back-up your save files etc onto a USB device like the PS3 does?

I've just plugged in my usb stick and I can't see any option to backup all my settings on my memory card to usb!?

I hope I am able to transfer all my settings from my memory card to my 360 HDD.
