I believe you can yes, if I remember correctly![]()
You can't fully install a game like you can on the 360. Some PS3 games like MGS4 require you to install some of the data to the hard drive for loading purposes like textures etc.
The install is mandatory though, so some games require you to install some data to the hard drive or else you can't continue.
how do you install games that do not have mandatory installs?
The loading time differences on 360 are pretty big when installed.
You'll be needing a chunky sized hard drive for that, seeing as a BD holds up to 50GB of data.Would be nice if they did update the firmware at some time to allow for installing all games.

Depends, might not have to be a full install if they worked out a system that could install the game data but allow for music/sounds to run off the disc.
360 proves that the only reason games on PS3 are so big is because they fill it up with uncompressed videos and sounds.

wish you could install SFIV on the PS3 - the load times are a right PITA! (especially when you're struggling against Seth and you are repeating a fight, why the hell can't i just re-fight straight away?!)
oooohhhhYou can, it's in the options menu.
You sir, are a legend! You can, it's in the options menu.
Haven't they already done that, that's what all these part installs on the PS3 do.
And no.
