Hey guys,

I've got a dining room light that I absolutely love, however, it doesn't use the common bulbs, so I cannot put HUE bulbs in it. Is there a way to convert a the light fixture so it can be linked to the rest of the smart lighting in some way?

Thanks :)

You can fit a little hue device in the light switch, which you can operate via the app etc...
Assuming this light you talk of has it's own independent light switch.

There are various devices on the market that can do this, as above. Make sure that what you choose is compatible with Hue (friends of hue) and also watch out for some that might require a neutral wire running down to the switch, which isn't common normal practice in the UK.

if your light fitting is a single central rose/fixture, as you imply, you can install a smart switch/dimmer there , where live&neutral will be available,
also replace the hard wall switches with smart switches, & permanently provide continuity on old wall switches.

eg https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09KY3KSS7/ref=emc_b_5_t

I'm more of a smart switch, dumb bulb person for the better light quality you get in many dumb bulbs.
