Can you make Android Market "forget" that I have bought an app?

Odd, I know!

Having massive issues with an app (Copilot USA, $4.50) as Google Market place never sent me the 15 digit purchase code..... so cannot activate the damned thing! Google Checkout sent me a huge string of numbers instead, and there is no info via google as to why they did this, or how to get a normal 15 digit code.

If all else fails (ive sent emails to copilot etc.) I want to re-buy the app as I need it urgently for a trip to the U.S.

Can I make Marketplace "forget" that I have bought it so I can repurchase it basically?.... and hopefully get the 15 digit purchase code this time!

Help!!

If it is urgent and no other solution, perhaps reset the phone and log in as another user and try buying it in that account. Far from ideal though.

If you login to checkout.google.com, find the order you were looking for and click 'view order'.

You should be able to see the order number half way down:

"Google order number: xxxxx"

Here's a direct copy and past of the number from the View Order function... you see the problem?

Thanks for the input though guys, there has to be a way of solving this. This is the only purchase on market that has this odd number, all the others show the normal 15 digit number.

I've just been through my history and found an order that shows as yours, in the URL however there is a query string for the receipt ID, in my other orders this number matches the order number and is 15digits -try this!
