Can you mix

Hi There,

I currently have:- 2 x2gb Gskill PC6400 (400mhz) 5-5-5-15 @ 1.8V

and want to add this:- Crucial Ballistix 2x 2gb (pc6400 800mhz) 4-4-4-12 @ 2.1v

this would give me 8gb....

but would it slow down my system?

It is a good mix or shouldnt I bother?

You would have to run the Ballistix at 5-5-5-15 @ 1.8V unless your Geil can run the same speed as the Ballistix, basically both sets need to be running at the same speed and volts
