Guys and gals

I'm just looking for a spec check on the below and if any suggestions on if this is good or requires any changes as I'm ready to take the plunge and get an order in, also open to any suggestions on if I should change the 970 for the 390?
Thanks in advance

Yes good spot, also any recommendations on PSU make as i see other brands being 80 plus gold which are cheaper, are they much of a muchness when your getting a gold modular?

Thanks again

A 970 is like any other 970, they all (ASUS Strix, Gigabyte Windforce/G1, MSI, EVGA) all have excellent coolers.

The Windforce does not have a backplate, 3yr warranty, good clock speeds.

Generally I arrange them by price and suggest from that list (unless someone wants a specific colour scheme and a case with a side window).

The R9 390 is a very good card with lots of Vram that should help it perform better at higher resolutions than a 970.

Thanks again Stulid apolgise for all the questions but I appreciate you taking the time to reply.

Out of the 2 cards which would you recommend, also is there is a reason for the case you mentioned above instead of the 1 i listed I.e anything I've missed 1 being better than the other etc

I would recommend the cheapest of the "good" GTX970s which is the Windforce, custom cooler still, good warranty and the price.

That Antec case has three prefitted fans and I think a simple fan controller for them, I also know it fits long gfx cards and coolers.

Sure as it s cheaper, much cheaper, I would actually have The G1 gaming over the infin8 version.

It differs from the Windforce by having a backplate on the rear and an all metal shroud around the fans.

Maybe the fan blades are slightly different too but cant remember where i read that or if its true.
