Can you put any other card apart from a GPU in a PCI Express x4 Slot ??

Sorry if this is a bit of a stupid question..

If i bought this M-ATX motherboard that has one 16x PCI Express slot & one x4 PCI Express slot could i use the 4x slot for any other cards apart from a GPU card ???

I am not 100% sure but you could fit a TV card or even a I/O (USB, etc) card in that slot?

It was a PCIe TV card i was thinking of putting in it

You can fit any PCI-E card in there no problems.
