so i bought a box of 4 ice creams from iceland earlier, got back and went to eat one. Opened it up and to my surprise there was no stick in it, just a block of an ice cream, i checked the rest and they are all like it:(
Can i take them back to the store for a refund ?

thats what spoons and bowls were invented for ;)

but yes if you want to be petty and prove your point then you can take them back. Also write to the manufacturer to complain and they will probably send you a voucher for another packet of them.

Look for the customer satisfaction number / address, "complain" to iceland about it and they might (like Nestle) send you a BIG BOX of ice cream (or smarties in my case from Nestle) to apologise and hope that will bribe me into having them in my good books again...

I know Iceland is no where near as big / wealthy as Nestle but it's worth a shot - do not try that with local managers tho, they'll just replace it and point you to the door...

what was said about the ice cream being crushed is why i dont ever buy anything from iceland.my daughter worked there for over a year and the number of times she told me that deliverys of frozen food were left out of the freezer to melt because all the lackeys were jobsworths was a joke.

Same thing happens in sainsbury's.
