Can you run 2 WinAVI? or recommend a dual core program?

i want to run a dvd converting program twice (one for each core) to convert more movies.

the program im using is WinAVI video converter 7.1

or if you know of any software that uses both cores and has similar features and is as easy to use as WinAVi could you recommend it please.
