Can you run a HTC Vive through a video processor?

I have a video processor... Which enhances picture quality as well as upscaling.

Could it work with the Vive?? Would add extra detail if so.

Is that not what super sampling does?

Adds more sharpening filters to the image, like a darbee but better... I planned to use ss and this?

The Vive uses an odd resolution and an odd framerate - you'd want to check very carefully that this thing will handle it since it's designed for your typical AV resolutions and framerates. It may also introduce unwanted latency.

My biggest question is....whyyyy? You will get no extra detail from it - it can't magic up pixels that weren't there to begin with. Use SS instead if your GPU can handle it - that renders a true higher resolution image before scaling down.

Good point.... I will test though and see... I'm saving for a 1080
