I got a gap between a brick wall and the door frame (external) that currently shows expanding foam thats been cut back a bit

I was considering to install a plastic trim to make a look nicer there, but how would I go about fixing this in place? silicone?

Or what other options do I have to make it look nicer?

Probably refill the gap with foam (assuming it’s of reasonable size) then silicone the plastic trim as bremen suggests.

If the gap is small just go straight to silicone.

Pics would help

That I don't know as I have never done a vertical - It should stick quite well - just keep pressing on it for a while.

I put plastic angle on my back door years ago but used silicon and screws - This was before I found stiksall-- cut a piece of plastic off and stick it to some scrap wood and see how it goes.

Case of suck it and see
