Can you sell a console with an already-redeemed game?

Hey folks, I have installed FIFA 14 on my Xbox One a couple of weeks ago and it now looks like I am going to sell the console, obviously will reset it to factory settings, so does this mean FIFA 14 is basically wasted? Or can I give the code box with to the buyer? Is it installed to the drive or locked to the gamertag?

Fifa 14 will be tied to your gamertag, and the code can only be used once. If you wipe the console back to factory settings, whoever you sell the console to won't be able to play Fifa.

The game will be tied to the account it was activated on, it can't be resold or transferred.

Ah ok, silly really but I guess that's how the gaming world seems to be going - shame they don't have a transfer system whereby you could 'gift' the game to the new owner or something (it obviously then renders your version unusable should you keep the console)

I'd imagine both MS and Sony are looking into a digital trading system along those lines, so keep hold of the code if you sell the console. It might end up being useful again in the future.
