Can you shrink trousers?

Basically, size wise i seem to be half way between 32 and 34" waist size. I've a few pairs size 34 that are too big! Anyone know of any way i could shrink them a little???

Let my wife wash them. She manages to shrink most of my clothes with no problem.

I've lost a bit weight, think they'd fall off when running if I didn't wear one!

I would suggest getting a belt, or getting them tailored to fit you, they can adjust trousers easily (if the material is correct).
