Can you stack thermal pads

I have a few sets of Alphacools Eisschicht thermal pads at 1.5mm thickness. My 6800XT requires 3mm thickness pads on the back plate and unfortunately AC don't sell 3mm thickness.

Given these thermal pads are basically rebranded Fujipoly's and i know they don't compress well.. if at all, would they still be ok stacking 2 to make 3mm?

Edit: Not end of the world question since the Aphacool GPU block requires 3mm thickness on the backplate and 1mm thickness on the front

Even stacking good thermalpads would perform better than the cheap ones provided with the waterblocks.
Every EK block I've ever used I had replaced the supplied ones with Gelid Extreme and the performance was not just perceptible, was fantastic.
Did the same with the M.2/NVME and Motherboard heatsinks and, again, better results.
If you don't want to stack them, I would recommend the Gelid ones.
