can you still get your 970 replaced if you're having memory issues?

Hi,

So I've had my 970 for a while now, under a year mind, and recently I upgraded to triple monitors.

Since doing so I've started to struggle with the 3.5gb memory issues, particularly prevalent on Assetto Corsa.

Is it still possible to part exchange it for a 980/980ti or get a refund? (bought from here last December)

Thanks

Wait, are you sure your memory issues with Assetto Corsa are related to video RAM and not general system RAM?

That seems odd. I see you're running triple monitors, but at what resolution? It's highly probably that if you're running into genuine video RAM issues with 3.5GB that even a 4GB card wouldn't be enough.

I mean, i also have to wonder whether you're just running into general performance issues. Triple monitors takes quite a lot of demand from a GPU.

My issue is that my VRAM usage sits on about 3600mb in game, and the gpu usage keeps dropping from 99-100% down to 30-60%, and then back up again. Res is just over 5760x1080 due to bezel correction at 120hz.

I knocked the quality and resolution down so that the vram stays below 3.5gb and then my gpu was at 100% constantly.

And for everyone else yes i'd be getting the ti no doubt. It is Christmas after all :)

I just spoke to customer support on the off chance they still did support this under 'warranty'. Was advised they didn't and the best thing to do was to sell the card on to somebody and upgrade to a 980ti.

Pes x
