I only watched one 4k HDR Blu-ray on my VT65 and didn't notice much to shout home about! (Deadpool)

I'm debating upgrading my Epson TW7200 to the new TW9300 and wondering if it would be worth it... I all ready have a darbee in the loop.

I never knew a Projector could do HDR?
My TV LCD has 240 zones of lights for HDR. And it does it very well.

It depends how well you're PJ room is setup, decent screen, blackout etc you need very good conditions to notice HDR and I believe I read something about the PJ needing to be as close as possible to make sure it has the lumen range to show the difference as it needs all the brightness it can to play with.

I'd probably save a bit more for a 4k PJ. After using my Sony 55ES I think the bigger difference would be from the res upgrade especially as UHD is now about and the catalogue will only get bigger.
