I paid £900 S/h with 7 month warranty left on it, its in mint condition, just not tried the optics yet as at work. Hence the mobile pics
 
nice piece of glass, I was going to get the 24-105 L lens but read a lot of comments from users saying it should not be an L lens and now im on the hunt for something else :(
 
the 24-105 L fits perfectly within the f/4 range of L's Its a tried and tested lens for a lot of pros that dont need massive apetures. Okay is suffers from a few things but they are mostly correctable in PP. In what way do they say its shouldnt be an L?

It's all a lot of lens snobery and pixel peeping moaning about very very little. It's a good solid lens and compliments the 17-40 F4L and the 70-200 F4L beautifully. Some people seem to have got it into there heads that all L lenses have to be prime sharp and distortion free throughout there range even though this has never been the case.
 
Next time , no stamp codes, no filter sizes, must just post the most insignificant thing on the lens!
